Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Once Dr. Schwartz realized how much of a positive influence dentistry could have on someone’s life, especially from an early age, he knew it was the field for him. He decided to focus on pediatrics and orthodontics so he could serve young patients and have a lasting, sizeable impact on their lives that would both enhance their health and bolster their confidence.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After completing his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Vermont, Dr. Schwarz went on to obtain his DDS from the University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. This was followed by completing his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the John R. Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo and getting his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Maryland.

Always striving to learn more and improve, Dr. Schwartz is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Orthodontists.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Schwartz dedicates most of his free time to his wife, Kathy, and their daughter, but he also enjoys seeing live music (as well as playing it as the keyboardist in his band). Otherwise, he likes to stay active and is an avid skier and tennis player.
